Santa Davis
Santa Davis began playing drums as a child in Kingston, where he witnessed the growth and development of Reggae in Jamaica playing alongside Bob Marley. His playing career began when Ska was popular. Santa and his contemporary musicians defined Rocksteady, which became the foundation for Reggae, which forever changed World Music. In the 1980s, he played on Bob Marley's Uprising and Confrontation albums and later joined the band Big Mountain. In the 2010's, Santa became Ziggy Marley's drummer and recorded with a string of country and rock performers including Willie Nelson and Pink.
