Steven Fry

Steven Fry pioneered electronic cataloging as music librarian for UCLA. He brought his love of music and people together when he revived the then-fading Southern California chapter of the Music Library Association. The chapter was formed in 1947, however, when its founders retired and passed away, the organization declined in membership numbers and thus activities. Steven brought his passion to the chapter and grew it up to a now important part of the music library field. After retiring from UCLA he got back into his other passion, making music!
