Stuart Isacoff

Stuart Isacoff, a pianist and composer, is founding editor of the magazine, Piano Today, Executive Editor of Sheet Music Magazine and the author of the 2000 book Temperament: How Music Became a Battleground for the Great Minds of Western Civilization. Stuart began his career in music publishing as editor for Music Sales and later had his original musical compositions and instructional books published by Boosey & Hawkes, G. Schirmer, Associated Music Publishers, Carl Fischer, Warner Bros. and Ekay Music. In recent years he has become an important columnist for the Wall Street Journal and several other publications bringing his music-themed articles to millions around the world.
