Tabitha Fair

Tabitha Fair grew up singing in her father's church in Oklahoma. She discovered at an early age songwriting and formed Avalon, a highly successful Contemporary Christian group with some of her musical friends. The group toured with several top gospel acts while performing many of Tabitha's songs. The Abe Ohlman Award, from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, was presented to Tabitha in 1998 in recognition of her creativity in songwriting. In 2008, she was the featured singer for Yamaha's Groove Night during the Anaheim NAMM Show, which is when her NAMM Oral History interview was captured.
