Takeomi Nishimura

Takeomi Nishimura found his way to Suzuki Musical Instruments while studying engineering in college. Upon returning home from school one day a friend suggested he work for the company and the rest is history. Within the company, Takeomi has served a variety of roles including production control, marketing and development, and at the time of his interview, serves as the Director of Sales where he evaluates sales trends and helps guide the trajectory of the company based on the success of individual instruments. During his 2018 NAMM oral history interview, which took place at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, it is evident the passion that Takeomi has for expanding the reach of musical education throughout Asia.
