Terry Hanley

Terry Hanley formed his own company, Terry Hanley Audio Systems, following the formation of Hanley Sound with his brother Bill. Terry has a keen understanding of the ever-changing technology and always sought to provide state-of-the-art equipment to the events he worked. He helped improve many of the processes now standard in live sound including how the teams communicated with each other. To that end he designed the THAS Headset Intercom System that proved invaluable in large arenas or outdoor events. Some of the highlights for Terry were the several occasions he provided sound for Jimi Hendrix such as at the Denver Pop Festival in 1969, and events featuring The Rolling Stones, Big Mama Thornton and Bob Marley.
