Will Woo

Will Woo started playing in rock groups at an early age as did his brother, Allan. Allan and Will played in the band, Hamster Farm and in 1980, Will joined the UK chart topping synth band, A Flock of Seagulls. He went on to get a dream job in a local music store, Frets, where he set up guitars as well as sold various acoustic instruments. While at Frets, he began displaying and selling guitars at guitar shows all over the UK before eventually starting his own company, WilyCat Guitars, which sells vintage guitars including Gibson, Fender, Rickenbacker, as well as some acoustic instruments, accessories, pedals and strings. Frets finally closed a few years ago and aside from the guitar shows, Will has formed an Irish rock duo with his partner, Cathy MacLaughlin, playing in bars and clubs in the Northwest of England and North Wales.
