Yukio Ohashi

Yukio Ohashi is the chairman of one of Japan’s leading music instrument distributors, Prima Gakki. The company was established in 1945 as a sheet music distributor and wholesaler. Over the years Yukio has been a key player in the development of the Japan music industry, designing associations and creating music-encouraging events and materials to increase active music makers. As a leader in the Wholesaler Division of the Japan Music Industry Association, he has helped create stronger music education programs as well as important musical events that have resulted in an expansion of music making around the country.
