105th NAMM Show Opens in Anaheim
Giant Musical Instrument Trade Show Expected to Break Exhibition, Registration Records; Offers More Opportunities for Manufacturers and Retailers
Today, a record-breaking 1,535 music products manufacturers from around the world will fill every square inch of the Anaheim Convention Center with the latest innovations in musical instruments at the 105th NAMM Show, the industry’s largest annual event in the United States.
The NAMM Show, which opened today in Anaheim and runs through the weekend, is open only to the trade and draws thousands of music products retailers and manufacturers eager to check out the products, attend valuable professional development sessions and network with industry peers.
Overall pre-show registration numbers indicate that attendance could possibly exceed last year’s record of 81,315.
Themed “The NAMM Show '07: It’s Your Show,” the event is slated to offer industry members a chance to shape their individual show experience through educational sessions and networking opportunities. In addition, the trade-only event offers music products manufacturers the chance to display thousands of new products ranging from string, percussion and band instruments to pianos, music accessories, pro-audio, lighting and computer-based music-making equipment.
Attendees can also experience unparalleled NAMM Show-related performances by artists of every genre and a wide array of after-show activities around the convention area throughout the weekend.
“Making music has never been more popular and our show numbers continue to reflect that trend,” said Joe Lamond, president and CEO, NAMM. “NAMM is committed to its Members in the music products industry to not only provide a high-profile event to promote their products, but also offer education and insights into the industry to help manufacturers, retailers and representatives steer their businesses in a positive direction for the coming year.”
The show runs today through Sunday at the Anaheim Convention Center. For more information and news updates from the 105th NAMM Show, interested parties may visit www.thenammshow.com.
