Ad-hoc Technology Committee releases Version 2007.1 business-to-business standards for the music products industry.
NAMM’s Ad-Hoc Technology Committee released another two components of its business-to-business technology standards for the music products industry. These documents, the Invoice Document and Item Document are key components of the XML-based industry standard, which has been dubbed Version "2007.1." The release consists of XML-based documents meant to streamline and improve electronic transactions between trading partners in the music products industry. The committee is also working to add additional documents to the specifications. These additional components are expected to be published later this year.
