NAMM U Unveils New Print Music Course for MI Professionals
NAMM University continues to diversify its offering of online training courses with the addition of "Profit from Print! All You Need to Know about Print Music."
Print music is the fifth-largest product line in the music products industry and has proven to be a lucrative market with retail profit margins of up to 50 percent.
The “Profit from Print! All You Need to Know about Print Music” course covers a variety of topics related to print music, including the benefits of offering print music; various types of print music and other products associated with it; typical customers; how to make money in the print music industry; copyright law; the retailer’s role; the employee’s role and responsibility in selling print music; product merchandising; and marketing.
The course, developed by Steven Estrella from Shearspire, Inc., is composed of 12 lessons, two quizzes and a final exam. Like all NAMM University Online classes, students are able to learn at their own pace from the comfort of their home or office. They can spend as little or as much time as they wish on any of the lessons, go through the course more than once and take the classes any time they want—from anywhere in the world.
