David Hosler

David Hosler had a friend in school whose father had a wood-working shop. It was in that small shop where David built his first guitar and where his passion for making instruments began.  He opened a shop in Florida and later established The Guitar Workshop in South Carolina where he sold guitars with a strong focus on guitar repair.  He wanted to repair the Taylor guitars once he first heard the instrument and fell in love with them.  Bob Taylor suggested he travel out to California to the factory to train.  David soon fell in love with the company, the people and the products and moved across the country to make guitars for Taylor, a job he has loved ever since!
