Giorgio Clerici
Giorgio Clerici is the son-in-law of Cosimo Pomarico, the classically trained clarinetist who in 1960 began making his own unique mouthpieces. Mr. Pomarico developed a crystal mouthpiece, which became the signature product of his company. In addition to the designs, he also built the facing machines for making the mouthpieces. Giorgio joined the company in the 1970s and worked alongside Mr. Pomarico until the founder’s passing in 1990. Since that time Giorgio and his son, Riccardo, have continued on with the traditions of the company, with a focus on building up the exporting side of the company.
