Federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Comparison

June, 2013, US Congress produced action – or at least intention – to debate and deliver the much-overdue re-authorization of the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Four bills were introduced – two in the Senate and two in the House. A comparison of the bills is attached and bill language and updates are available at the links below. NAMM will monitor this activity closely with regards to specific language that impacts access to music education and provide periodic updates at this site.
