Eddie DeGarmo
Eddie DeGarmo grew up across the street from Graceland (he has a great Trick or Treat story from 1960) and somehow always knew he wanted to have a career in music. As a member of a Christian hair-band of the 1980s he recorded 17 albums with that band and performed for many years with several groups. Eddie began to write songs based on his Christian experiences, which led to his connection with Christian music, and introducing him into music publishing. He formed Meaux Music, which he later sold to EMI and worked for them for several years. Missing the publishing side he helped create Capitol CMG Publishing because, as he has said, “it’s in my blood!”
