Jimi Schutte
Jimi Schutte first played drums as a teenager and went on to perform and record with a host of blues legends such as Luther Allison, Jimmy Dawkins and Lonnie Brooks. He toured with The South Side All Stars in the late 1970s and early 80s, which featured Junior Wells, Jimmy Dawkins, Eddie Shaw and the great Hubert Sumlin. Jimi's feel and timing has become a mainstay at the Chicago Blues Fest, several music programs in Europe and many blues events in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. And the passion and drive that sparked his career in the 1960s remains to this day, with the drive and energy required to shake things up.
