Mary Faith Rhoads-Lewis
Mary Faith Rhoads Lewis grew up on a farm outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania, where her mother played the piano and encouraged her children to play an instrument. Mary Faith began playing the violin at the age of eight and soon discovered she had a love of folk music. She built her own Mountain Dulcimer and played at many folk festivals in and around her home town. In 1971 she met the guitar teacher John Pearse. The two later married and opened their own company to supply folk music and folk instruments around the world. Breezy Ridge was established in 1980 and even after their separation and John's passing, Mary Faith very passionately continues to operate the business.
