Ira Nepus

Ira Nepus is the type of musician who is always looking to expand his knowledge in order to be as useful a player as possible for each of his gigs.  The philosophy has become a trade mark for his TV and film work as well as in the recording studios for products ranging from rock to jazz.  At the center of this talent is a wonderful person, who cares for friendships and the discovery of new friends like his prized trombone. He has written a method book and recorded three sessions for Music Minus One as well as lecturing on the art of playing for film and TV.  When you hear a tasty bit of his playing, such as on Paul McCartney’s “Kisses on the Bottom” CD, you can feel the warmth of Ira’s personally!
