Pat Quilter

Pat Quilter is a man with a vision. Pat built his first guitar amp after reading about a new technique for bridging using solid state transistors. Quilter Sound Things transitioned into Quilter Sound Company with the company focused on guitar and bass amps and selling direct to consumers out of their Orange County shop. Eventually Pat and his partners Barry and John Andrews made the decision to transition into power amps and beyond as QSC Audio. With QSC now prospering in its fifth decade, Pat has returned to his passion of developing and refining solid state guitar amps. Looking to reproduce the dynamics and warmth of tube amps in a solid state package, Pat has succeeded in taking Quilter amps to the next level.
