NAMM Celebrates the Top 100 Music Products Retailers
NAMM’s Top 100 Dealer Awards honor standout retailers in music product industry
The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) is honored to announce the final selections for 2016’s Top 100 Dealer Awards. Now in its sixth year, the Top 100 Dealer Awards spotlight the very best industry retailers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their stores, neighborhoods and customers, and play an important role in acting as music making ambassadors in their communities.
“The ‘Top 100 Dealer’ program has certainly grown a bit since it was launched a few years ago. Our retail members who enter the competition are passionate about their businesses and really know how to tell their stories of service to their customers and their communities,” said NAMM President and CEO, Joe Lamond. “In my opinion, we owe a debt of gratitude to all our retail members, through their tireless efforts, they are providing access to music products and services which help to foster the next generation of music makers.”
The Top 100 Dealers will be honored at an awards gala on Friday, June 24 at the annual Summer NAMM show in Nashville. Of the Top 100, seven standout dealers will also be honored in “Best of” categories including: Best Store Turnaround, Best Customer Service, Best Store Design, Best Marketing and Sales Promotion, Best Online Engagement, Best Emerging Dealer/”Rookie of the Year,” and one recipient will be honored with the Music Makes a Difference Award. The coveted NAMM Dealer of the Year award will go to one of the recipients in the aforementioned categories.
Each Top 100 submission was reviewed by an independent panel of judges and numerically rated across categories that included customer service, music advocacy, store design and promotions and were scored in accordance to determine the Top 100 list, the category winners, and the overall award, Dealer of the Year.
The Top 100 Dealer Awards presentation will be held in the Davidson Ballroom at Music City Center Friday, June 24 at 6:00 p.m. All Summer NAMM badge holders are invited to attend this evening honoring excellence in music retailing.
Congratulations to the 2016 Top 100 Dealers:
