Alan Schulman
Alan Schulman was a freelance recording engineer who worked in many of the top studios in Muscle Shoals and Nashville. Bassist Norbert Putnam called Alan, "Mr. Golden Ears" for his skillful recording techniques. Alan engineered albums for the group Alabama, Ronnie Milsap, and seven albums for Ricky Skaggs. He also teamed with Mac McAnally to write songs and produce records. Alan and Mac wrote the song "Better Than The Good Old Days," and worked together for over 35 years. Alan was 66 years old when he passed away in 2020.
