Mike Henry

Mike Henry was born in Los Angeles, CA and studied drums with Mel Zelnick at Mel's store, The Music Stop. When he was older, Mike toured all over the US, Canada, and Japan, eventually settling in Houston where he performed with some of the cities' best musicians. After working for Keith Kanekey's Drum Shop, Mike decided to open his own drum and percussion store, The Percussion Center. Over the years Mike has provided excellent customer service and has made a wide range of music lessons available for drum, guitar, and piano students. The Percussion Center has been the place to find a part or get repairs done to drum and percussion instruments. Mike has also created HP Custom Drums where he creates custom drums for his customers.
