Peggy Lee
This audio only interview was conducted for a radio program by Dan Del Fiorentino and donated to the NAMM Oral History program: Peggy Lee was an elegant jazz vocalist who started singing with Benny Goodman's Orchestra and went on to record standard jazz albums and hit songs in the 1950s and 60s. She also enjoyed success in film and television and is known to millions of Disney fans as the voice of Peg in the 1955 animated classic "Lady and the Tramp." She was also a noted songwriter having penned songs with the likes of Duke Ellington, Victor Young, and Harold Arlen.
