Below are a few ideas to manage sound levels when showcasing your products at The NAMM Show.
Manage Your Exhibit Setup and Demo Plan
- Limit product demos to 2 minutes or less
- Utilize headphones to facilitate demos
- Layout your exhibit area so demos are positioned in the center of your design and away from the aisle
- Point speakers and amplifiers inside your exhibit space
- Place signs in your booth reminding attendees of maximum demo lengths and decibel levels

- Bring a drum shield to install around your kits
- Remove drum thrones, so you can manage who and when your products are tested
- Use drum brushes instead of drum sticks to minimize sound levels
