Robert Morrison
Robert Morrison was fully involved with marching band and percussion in school and into college, where he studied music education. His involvement with school bands and music education landed him the job at Pearl Drums to help build the marching and concert band division, which he began to do in 1987. That experience led to his involvement with Karl Bruhn and the National Collation of Music Education. Robert served on the board of MENC and Karl Bruhn, who at the time was the Director of Market Development for NAMM. When Karl retired he suggested Robert take his place. As the head of Market Development Robert was involved with many government relation programs and music research studies. He also worked with the VH1 Save the Music program, which he would later run before starting Music For All, a music advocacy foundation.
