Mary Ortigara
Mary Ortigara has always had a deep passion for education and was even an English major at Xavier College. After graduation in the late 1950s, she began working in her brother’s music store providing accordion lessons. She soon expanded the lesson program within the store to include other instruments and hired a number of well-respected teachers. She has been active in the store for over 50 years and played a role in every aspect of the business as you do in a family business. For years she ran the books for the business in addition to the lesson program and always felt the store was successful because of the teamwork among the family members and staff.
