EarSketch: Teaching Music and Computer Science Together

This demonstration will outline motivations behind design and development of EarSketch, a free web-based learning environment and curriculum, developed by interdisciplinary researchers at Georgia Tech. Discussion will focus on features of the EarSketch web site and curriculum, and will summarize research regarding EarSketch and student engagement, content knowledge, and intention to persist in further studies.
