Bill Lloyd
Bill Lloyd is one half of the country duo Foster & Lloyd. Along with his partner Radney Foster, Bill wrote and recorded several hit songs including “Crazy Over You” and “Since I Found You.” The latter became a big hit for the Sweethearts of the Rodeo in 1986. Bill’s love of music can be traced back to his childhood when his father was a drummer and his mother played the piano. By the time Bill was a teenager he was already playing in bars three nights a week. His songwriting talents led to a gig as a staff writer for a number of publishers including Warner Chappell and EMI. In addition to his performing career, Bill contributed greatly to the understanding of the Nashville sound when he recorded a series of over 40 interviews for the Country Music Hall of Fame with studio musicians such as Paul Franklin and Bob Moore.
