NAMM Music Education Advocacy Hill Day
September 14, 2022

A Note About Hill Day
This isn't our regular Fly-In! Hill Day takes us back to our advocacy roots. This is a no-frills, get-down-to business advocacy blitz with three ways to participate: 1. NAMM members and partner advocates join us in Washington, D.C. on September 14 to hold in-person meetings with Members of Congress and/or their Education Legislative Aides. 2. Set virtual meetings with your representatives. 3. Set in-person meetings in your home district(s). NAMM staff and policy experts will provide support in scheduling meetings and will provide self-paced virtual training. NAMM will provide all materials, information packets, and a detailed "ask" for federal action in support of music education in schools. Participation in NAMM Hill Day and pre-event advocacy training is FREE for registrants. Advocates attending Hill Day in person are responsible for their own travel related expenses (transportation, housing, meals). NAMM will host a light reception the evening of September 14 to honor your commitment to music education advocacy. Check back for updates and review important dates below.
