Allen & Heath Provides Free Training and Certification at The NAMM Show
The NAMM Show is home to a diverse array of education and training to ensure professionals and rising talent remain at the top of their game. The 2023 NAMM Show will host a suite of educational sessions presented by Allen & Heath geared toward pro audio professionals to take their live console training to the next level.
Allen & Heath is a leading designer and manufacturer of mixing desks for live sound, permanent installation, DJs, broadcast, and recording studios. Calling the United Kingdom home, the manufacturer was part of the “first wave of great British mixer companies, starting life at the heart of London’s swinging music scene in 1969.” In the early years, Allen & Heath hand-built mixers for what can be considered the top bands of the era, including Genesis, Pink Floyd, and The Who. Today, the NAMM Member provides products to support tours with top artists like George Thorogood, Bring Me the Horizon, and Billie Eilish.
The educational offerings presented by Allen & Heath at The NAMM Show will be hosted by presenter Michael Bangs, a live sound and touring manager. Bangs has more than 20 years of concert production experience and has spent his career as a touring monitor engineer and production manager, working with Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Katy Perry, Tom Petty, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Nick Jonas. As an early adopter of live digital mixing, Bangs has provided training and support to engineers. In 2011, he adopted the Allen & Heath iLive platform as his console of choice for consistent touring, leading to a close relationship with the manufacturer.
Each session and certification course presented by Allen & Heath is in the Anaheim Convention Center (ACC), Level 2, Room 209A, and is open for all to attend.
