Please review the PPT from the Standard for Due Diligence in Procuring and Sourcing Legal Timber under the Lacey Act webinar. The standard development process, launched by the Hardwood Plywood Veneer Association, is being conducted under rules of the American National Standards Institute, which sets forth procedures for the adoption of national consensus standards in a variety of industries and product categories. NAMM serves on the Canvass Committee for the proposed standard, a position which will allow the music products industry to comment on the proposed standard through NAMM.
