Hit Dog Hollar

Hometown:
San Diego / Nashville

Hit Dog Hollar was born in 2010, when long time friends Austin Prince, Dallas Mauricio, and Carter Chase began writing and recording songs in their hometown of San Diego, California. After a short stint as a trio, the band added bassist Jamie Latty in 2012. Their time on stage includes opening for acts such as P.O.D., Blackberry Smoke, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, and Mixmaster Mike. In the studio, Hit Dog Hollar has collaborated with legendary blues man Weepin’ Tommy Brown and multi-platinum artist Sonny Sandoval from P.O.D.

In 2015, the band relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. They finished recording ten songs with Grammy-nominated producer Dan Hannon in Atlanta, Georgia in late 2017.
