Jessica Fichot

Accompanied by her accordion, toy piano, and fiery band, Los Angeles-based  chanteuse and songwriter Jessica Fichot draws from her multi-ethnic French / Chinese / American heritage to create an intoxicating multilingual fusion of French chanson, 1940s Shanghai jazz, gypsy swing and international folk.

With 3 acclaimed albums under her belt ("Le Chemin", "Le Secret" and "Dear Shanghai"), Jessica has brought her music to audiences around the world - regularly performing in China, Mexico, Canada and across the U.S and western Europe. Backed by her talented musicians (on clarinet/sax, upright bass and guitar) and singing in French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and English, Jessica can switch with ease from a lively French chanson to a moving Mexican classic or a jazzy Shanghai gem - performing styles that are varied but are always united by Jessica's gorgeous expressive singing voice.

Jessica's original songs have been featured in movies, TV shows and commercials. Her music has been hailed "enchantingly original" by the LA Weekly and “delightfully catchy - a glittering testament to L.A.’s multiculturalism" by the LA Times.
