Hummingbird Hotel

Bio Hummingbird Hotel is a duo from San Diego, California David Stranger, lead singer/guitarist from the band Stranger, and Megan Love, a California singer songwriter came together in 2014 to co-write the song 'Can't Say'. The writing process and chemistry was so good between them that they were moved to write and record a full album which will be debuting this fall. The band name Hummingbird Hotel embodies the buzz, and good vibe of the project. Their live acoustic show is filled with rich harmonies, strong melodies, original hooks as well as beat boxing, switching instruments, and looping. With a full band, the layers of production really come to life and compliment each song. The duo traveled to the Big Island of Hawai'i for the 2017 Hawai'i Songwriting Festival. Their song "Perfect" placed in the songwriting competition allowing them to perform in the big festival concert alongside Jason Mraz and many other hit songwriters. They were very happy to perform at the 2018 NAMM show, and Durango Songwriting Festival. Their song 'Can't Blame a Guy' placed in the John Lennon Song Contest, and they have recently gotten songs placed in TV, Film, and Commercials. Back at the 2018 Hawaiian Songwriting festival, the pair were invited to sing harmonies for the legendary, Kenny Loggins. David and Megan are excited for the upcoming release of 11 original songs packaged into a self titled debut album coming October, 2018!
