Josh Logan Trio
Josh Logan, singer, songwriter, performer, reality TV personality, brings a fresh and addictive sound and style to the music industry. Josh blends a style of Rock, R&B, Soul, & Pop that is invigorating, lasting, and memorable. Josh Logan began his music career at the very young age of 14. With the legendary Stevie Wonder (and such artists as Pearl Jam, Prince, Tupac Shakur, Sublime, Otis Redding, Alice in Chains, & other diversities) spinning in his CD player, Josh discovered his unique voice. Determined to excel as a musician and song writer he added guitar to his talents, chiseling his craft as a self-taught musician. By 15 Josh was taking the stage at many packed venues as front man of the popular local New England band "Gunshy". Since then Josh has taken the time to master his musical talents and is always prepared to take his success to the next level. His music follows its own path with deep direction and soulful lyrics, never losing touch with what his fans crave. He has shared the stage with national recording artists; Dime-Bag Darrell and Vinnie Paul of Damage Plan, Tantric, Shinedown, Lacuna Coil, blues legend James Montgomery, Toby Lightman, Tony Lucca, Lakisha Jones, Matt Giraud, Lukas Rossi, John Popper of Blues Traveler, and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue & Methods of Mayhem. In the summer of 2005, Josh embarked on a 3 month tour with the number one college act "Recycled Percussion" on their "Rock Your Junk" tour. Josh played to packed venues every night and collected many new fans along the way. Josh finally got a shot at the big time in late July of 2006 when he was chosen to be 1 of 15 world-wide contestants on the hit CBS TV show "Rockstar: Supernova". This once in a lifetime experience put Josh in front of 10-20 million viewers two times a week as they witnessed his work with Dave Navarro, Jason Newstead, Gilby Clarke, Tommy Lee & Butch Walker. Josh returned home following the show and continues to play in the U.S, Canada, and Iceland. At that time he released his freshman album "Gone Tomorrow, Here Today" which was well received by his fans. The album reflected the blend of styles that Josh loved most and spoke of optimism and tragedy. During this time, Josh toured and performed for several years in search of what was the "next step". In 2013, Josh got another opportunity at TV stardom when he auditioned for NBC to be on season five of "The Voice". Josh got three of the four chairs to spin. Even though Blake Shelton had confessed that he had a “Man Crush” on him, Josh ultimately decided to choose Christina Aguilera as his coach. He made it up the ranks to one of the top 12 finalists. Upon the finale of "The Voice" , Josh returned home to much love and support from his New England friends and fans. He was dubbed "Male Performer of the Year" at the New England Music Awards and "Toast of the Town" by Dirty Water News at the Boston Nightlife Awards. Up to this point, Josh has been recording and just released several new songs such as "Bad Decisions", "Sorry", and most recently a new EP with the songs "Good Times" and "Inspiration". The latest EP was co-written, recorded, and produced with Anthony Resta at Paramount Recording Studios at Studio Bopnique. It has remarkable players on the tracks such as Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers & Foo Fighters) on keys, and session legend Tim Pierce (Santana, Tracy Chapman, Marc Broussard to name a few....) on guitar. You can find these and many of Josh Logan's songs on iTunes and other digital outlets. Take some time, and check them out! Right now Josh is performing at colleges and venues across the U.S. Get in touch, bring him to your venue, and see what he’s all about. He’s always searching for the “next step”. Thank you!
