PARALANDRA

Hometown:
Springfield, Missouri

Paralandra formed in 2013 with this concept; why not produce heavy modern rock with an intentionally positive message, and treat the fans like fams? We have not wavered in that mission, and continue to write music and design performances that hit hard, fast, and leave an uplifting, empowering impact on each person attending. We started with a "no tracks - no tricks" policy. So, rather than take shortcuts, the tight vocal harmonies, tight rhythm section, and blistering dual guitar work of Casandra and Paul are the result of relentless practicing and performing. Casandra's enigmatic Lzzy Hale-meets-Janis Joplin vocals never fail to astonish people, and we feel it's because of these elements we receive constant accolades as an unrivaled live show. Our first CD was cut in 2014, and physical sales required 3 re-orders. Our 2nd EP, 2016's All Fall Down, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and the title track received substantial radio play. Our newest EP, Ascension, was produced by Nick Sampson (Asking Alexandria, Born of Osiris, We Came as Romans, Polyphia, and others), released in June 2018, and 3 of the 5 songs have received immediate radio play - Back to Life, Killer Queen, and Never Without Me. In August we finished shooting a 2.5D animation video for our latest single, Killer Queen, to be released later this year. We are currently preparing to do a fall tour with Tantric and Wayland. We've traveled as a headlining act across the US, as well as playing such festivals as Rocklahoma, Rockfest and Dirtfest (WI), Loud-in-Lima (OH), SXSW, DTE (MI), Gen-X, and others, with more in the works via Artery Global. We've also enjoyed sharing the stage with such acts as Breaking Benjamin, Alter Bridge, Disturbed, POD, Fuel, Hinder, Buckcherry, and more. We are very excited about the future, and look forward to a visit at NAMM this year!
