Printz

Printz is a classic rock band that has been entertaining crowds at every NAMM Trade Show for the past 15 years. Originally made up of print music professionals (hence their tongue-in-cheek name), they are now a rockin’ band of music retail industry sales, finance and management professionals from all over the U.S.

The band is comprised of Chris Scialfa (lead singer & keyboards) V.P. of National Sales for D’Addario & Company, Farmingdale, NY; Joel Menchey (guitar & vocals) President of Menchey’s Music Service Inc. Hanover, PA; Zach Phillips (guitar & Vocals), NAMM’s Director of Professional Development, Carlsbad, CA; Alan Friedman (lead guitar), CPA/Partner of Friedman, Kannenberg & Company, P.C., Farmington, CT; David Jahnke (drums & vocals) V.P. of National Sales, Hal Leonard Corporation, Milwaukee, WI; and Steve Harder (bass) V.P. Sales, Harmon Audio Group, Palm Desert, CA.

Despite their geographical displacement and inability to hold any kind of band rehearsal, these guys always bring a fun set of rockin’ favorites from Bon Jovi to Bryan Adams to U2 to Van Halen to Tom Petty to the band’s namesake, Prince...in between their normal banter of always-entertaining commentary about each other’s dress or musical abilities.
