The Wanna Play Dealer Award: Candyman Strings & Things in Santa Fe, N.M.

<p>Candyman Strings &amp; Things is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in a beautiful 10,000 square-foot newly renovated landmark building with attractive showrooms displaying acoustic guitars, electric guitars, drums and percussion, amplifiers and pro sound, keyboards, and educational materials. Also housed within the facility is a repair department and a band and orchestra instrument rental and sales counter. The Candyman also boasts comfortable and inviting teaching and ensemble studios, a coffee shop, and a nicely equipped performance space.</p> <p><strong>Rocking Wanna Play Music Week<span class="Apple-tab-span"> </span></strong></p> <p>Candyman Strings &amp; Things recently held its second annual Wanna Play experience and says the entire staff took delight in watching new faces flood the store for this event.<span class="Apple-tab-span"> </span>They set up several group participation activities such as harp, drum, acoustic guitar and keyboard circles.They also gave mini lessons on keyboard, drums, and guitar.</p> <p>Candyman hosted a Rock Band Test Drive, which featured an assembly of band instruments set up rock band style, where they taught individuals a simple beat, chord, key, or vocal and brought everyone together to play a song.&nbsp;The store also passed out brochures on the benefits of making music, as well as free lesson coupons and information on all of their educational programs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Check out the video to see more!</p>
