In an effort to connect these applicants with the newest opportunities in the industry, CMS has created the Music Vacancy List (MVL). NAMM member companies seeking applicants are encouraged to advertise their opportunities in this list, which is sent to the CMS membership every Friday. Finding qualified applicants has never been more critical—and this is an easy, efficient and cost-effective way to get connected. To find out more about this program and post your opportunities, visit the <a href="http://www.music.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=78&Itemid=793">MVL link</a>, complete the form and submit your information.</p> <h3><strong>NAMM President's Innovation Award</strong></h3> <p>The NAMM President's Innovation Award supports individuals who are enrolled in music business and music education courses and are preparing for a job in the music products industry. Students who apply and meet the following criteria can be awarded with a $600 stipend to help with expenses with attending The NAMM Show:</p> <ul> <li>Must be enrolled for the summer or fall 2015 semester in a university-based music business and/or music education program.</li> <li>Must be able to prove with a spring 2015 high school or college transcript that they are maintaining an overall 3.0 grade average.</li> <li>Must also intend to be enrolled full time in college at the time of The NAMM Show in January 2016 and through the winter/spring semester.</li> </ul> <p>The opportunity to apply closed September 30. <a href="/news/press-releases/president%E2%80%99s-innovation-award-winners-attend-2014">Read more</a> about the 2014 recipients.</p>
