When the clock is running in the studio and the pressure is on, it's important to maintain an atmosphere of creativity and a clear vision of the goals of the session. There are many subtle and not-so-subtle things that can be done by the engineer or producer to clear the path toward the goals of productivity, smoothing the waters from difficult personalities and transcending conflicts in the studio. Engineer and producer Dom Morley, who won the Record Of The Year Grammy Award for his engineering work on Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" album, led the discussion at this 2019 NAMM Show TEC Tracks session.
