Leaders from a coalition that worked together to bring the aerosol study conducted by Dr. Shelly Miller at the University of Colorado, Boulder and Dr. Jelena Srebric at the University of Maryland. Center for Sustainability in the Built Environment share detailed mitigation strategies for the music and arts classrooms.
The study answered the questions: 1. What was happening with aerosol distribution when people sang, played an instrument, performed in a theater, debated, or read poetry aloud? And 2. What tactics or practices could mitigate aerosol distribution so music and performing arts learning opportunities could continue along with the vital benefits for all students?
