Attend and Participate in the Worldful of Pianos

Over the past three years, Roomful of Pianos has become a highly anticipated event at The NAMM Show, bringing unforgettable performances for 10 pianos, 20 pianos, even 40 pianos to the show’s international audience of 110,000 music industry attendees.

In this pandemic year, with live music outside the home in short supply, the piano is taking on its most important role in decades. NAMM’s Believe In Music Week, held January 18–22, 2021, will celebrate the instrument’s central place with a special Worldful of Pianos streaming-video event, produced in partnership with Steinway & Sons and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation.

Pianists from around the world are invited to participate by downloading Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca, so they can play along during the live event. Learn more about the Worldful of Pianos.

“While many of us find ourselves at home, there is no better time to explore the responsive and resounding experience of playing the piano,” says Mary Luehrsen, NAMM Foundation Executive Director. “Alongside the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, we look forward to welcoming new and returning pianists to join the event in song.”

Worldful of Pianos will debut on Thursday, January 21st at 2:00 pm (Pacific) and will be live on believeinmusic.tv. Be sure to register for Believe in Music Week. Members can register here, and general attendees can register here.
