Bob Harrison

Bob Harrison tells many stories of his father and aunt working in music retail when he was a child. His aunt, Mary L. Spence, owned a store with her name on it in Plainview, Texas. She was a pioneer in the music industry as well as in business. Bob's father, Nolan, ran her store when Aunt Mary died in 1964. Nolan, Bob, and Bob’s brother soon after moved to Flagstaff, Arizona where they opened and ran Flagstaff Music Center for several decades. Among the most important memories Bob hold dear to his heart are the stories musicians tell of his father’s kindness towards them.
