Dewey Kuhn

Dewey Kuhn grew up listening to his grandmother playing the organ, which she did in her younger days accompanying silent movies.  His passion grew as he learned to play. Dewey worked with the men who would later form Hal Leonard Publishing Company, with organ man Crane Bodine, and with Baldwin before moving over to Rodgers Instrument Corp.  His career with Baldwin began in 1966 as a staff artist before landing the job as District Sales Manager.  He later worked for the church organ division of Baldwin, which included the Wurlitzer plant in Mississippi because by that time Baldwin had purchased the famed piano company and its brand names.  The combination of the Wurlitzer plant and Baldwin organ products resulted in a division Dewey headed called Church Organ Systems, which he purchased in 1997.  Dewey was approached by the Rodgers Instruments Corporation and joined their team in 2004.
