Jim Kincaid
Jim Kincaid has fond memories of his father singing and playing his guitar. Jim’s father was the folk singer and publisher, Bradley Kincaid, who helped pioneer folk music on the radio in the 1920s and 30s, throughout the Midwest and the New England area. His father retired from his music career at the Grand Ole Opry in 1950 and purchased a music store in Springfield, Ohio in 1955, which was later renamed Kincaid Music. Jim joined the store in 1959 after completing his college education and a period in the Air Force. A new location was built in 1971, which is the current location of the store now owned by Rick and Debbie Dustin. Jim was also an early and strong supporter of NASMD and a close friend to the organizations founders such as Ziggy Coyle and Jimmy Johnson.
