Rosi Johnson
Rosi Johnson was hired by the founder of Mississippi Music and her future father in law, Jimmy Johnson, as the in-house accountant. She took over the financial end of the entire business from the secretary/treasurer/office manger who was retiring. At the time the company had seven store locations. She married Jimmy's son Dex the next year. Rosi had accounting experience while working in her family’s local flower shop as well as her college training and soon she became an important contributor to the business. She was elected President of the company in 2002. She served on the NAMM Board, was elected Secretary/Treasurer of NASMD in 2011 the same year she was named the Mississippi Business Journal’s Business Woman of the Year!
