Sue Smith

Sue Smith met her future husband, Craig, when they were both teenagers, working part-time demonstrating Wurlitzer organs at Karnes Music in the Chicago area.  Craig was the senior member of the "Whiz Kids", (talented organ students that performed at fairs and outside promotions) and Sue was a budding protégé at 13.  By the time she graduated from high school, she was teaching adult organ classes and doing in-store concerts at the Wurlitzer retail stores in Chicagoland, and when Craig returned home from college and reconnected with Sue, they were inseparable!   Sue was proudly taking pictures of Craig on the NAMM stage in 2017 when he received the Oral History Service Award!
