At Summer NAMM, the annual mid-year gathering of the industry, NAMM members from across the world met in Nashville to develop new business strategies, network and prepare for the all-important third and fourth quarters.

Earlier this evening at Summer NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) celebrated the industry’s Top 100 Dealer Awards and recognized the enterprising music product retailers who received “Best of” awards for their excellence in several areas, including the coveted “Dealer of the Year” award.

NASHVILLE – June 28, 2018 – Earlier today at Summer NAMM, pro audio professionals and leading industry brands gathered to recognize and celebrate the announcement of the 34th annual NAMM TEC Award nominees at a special pro audio reception held in the Music City Center.

The Parnelli Board of Advisors have announced that Chris Adamson will receive the Parnelli Lifetime Achievement Award at the 18th annual ceremony on January 25 at The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.

On Tuesday evening, The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation honored Representative Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) with the organization’s SupportMusic Champion Award. The award was presented in recognition of the Representative’s tireless work, and strong support of music education, including her lead role in the 2015 passage of the bipartisan Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

Legendary music photographer Henry Diltz has captured some of the most iconic images of the last four decades, and now the famed documentarian is sharing his love of music and photography with visitors to NAMM’s Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, CA. The new exhibit, Listening Through the Lens: The Music Photography of Henry Diltz, will open Saturday, June 9, with a special VIP member reception, and will be on display for all visitors through October 28.
