Mike Vaccaro

Mike Vaccaro is a true piano salesman veteran! Having worked in the piano business for over 40 years, selling for several retail stores and running his own dealership for over 20 years, Mike has sold his share of instruments! He played guitar in the US Navy Band during the Vietnam War era and among many performances played for the opening of Disney World in Florida. In 1971, with the encouragement of his pal Joe Di Fio, Mike began selling pianos. He worked in Syracuse, New York at Clark’s Music before moving out of the snow to Nelson’s Music in Kansas. It was there that Mike built up a strong reputation and client base. He worked for Jenkins Music in the area and established his own store, Vaccaro Piano & Organ. His store opened in 1995 and Mike offered the Baldwin and Roland line of products, among others. After 20 years, he closed the store to work for Schmitt Music in Kansas before joining the team at Kansas Piano - which is owned by Metroplex Piano - based in Texas. To say the least, Mike loves his career and has made many friends over the years. Oh and yes, and he sold a few pianos along the way!
