Tom Mathis

Tom Mathis spent over 50 years in the piano business! Just think of how many instruments he must have sold and all the music currently being made thanks to him! He developed his sales style while working for two legendary stores (Wooten Music and Smith-Holden) before opening his own store in 1979, Tom Mathis Baldwin Piano & Organ, and he ran the store until 2009. At that time he moved from Florida to Pennsylvania and worked at Menchey Music until his retirement 11 years later. Tom’s knowledge of products and passion for providing music to his customers made him the perfect mentor to dozens of younger people coming up in the industry.
